The structure is composed of concrete, with solid brick walls. The terrace was given new cladding and an exact replica of the existing balustrade. The old wooden fa\u00e7ade cladding was removed and replaced with innovative prefab fa\u00e7ade elements made of insulation and hardwood slats, mounted on a supporting structure. By using double slats at roof level, the design references the sawtooth roofs and rhythm of the building, which is now visible from the surrounding area. Lighting and signage were integrated into this slatted structure, making the building recognizable both day and night. This project won the award for Best Renovation Project of 2022.
