Nearly fifteen years after the initial start of the project, the new music academy in Dilbeek was inaugurated in September 2014. Located in a rather delicate setting, architect Carlos Arroyo managed to bridge the highly contrasting site conditions with his design. Together with construction company Kumpen, we took on the challenge to create a functional and sustainable building within budget, one that is not only a joy to be in but also to look at. As Limeparts-Drooghmans, we were responsible for the colorful, forest-inspired glass façade cladding. The building reflects differently from every angle.
